TSG Shortsea and TSG Terminal UK enter a new chapter as TST

Eric Hjalmarsson and Thomas Bryan have acquired TSG Shortsea AB and TSG Terminal UK Ltd from ThorSvecon Group through HOI Holding in a management buyout. The businesses become independent and will operate under the name TST – Thor Shortsea & Terminals.

The new ownership brings operational leadership and ownership together, with a shared ambition to strengthen the core business, broaden the service offering and develop long-term customer partnerships.

TST combines shortsea shipping, terminal operations, warehousing and shortsea forwarding into an integrated transport chain connecting Sweden, UK and the Continent. Its shipping service operates under the SUN brand, supported by its own terminal operations in Hull.

Continuity and efficient transport solutions

Existing teams and customer contact persons remain in place, ensuring continuity across services and day-to-day operations. The SUN brand remains the name of the shortsea shipping service.

TST’s multipurpose vessels combine steel, timber and containers, making efficient use of capacity, and continuously developing our IT-platforms. This supports flexible transport solutions that offers lower emissions across their supply chains.
